About Me

Sycamore holistic’s was born out of a desire to help people discover and explore their own ability to heal and transform their lives. Following periods of unrest and challenge in my own life, I found I needed more than what conventional medicine could offer to protect my wellbeing in the long term. Everything I offer, I have used myself to deepen my connection, compassion and understanding of myself, and are part of my healing journey.

  • I qualified as a nurse in 1995 and have worked in a variety of settings. This has deepened my knowledge of the human condition and manifested through a very mindful and holistic approach when working with clients.

Having practiced yoga for many years, in 2017, I studied this ancient art on a deeper level, completing a 200-hour teacher-training program. Yoga is more than just a physical practice, it’s a way of life, a philosophy, and one that can support the life path you choose in so many ways.

This fuelled a desire to learn other holistic therapies, so I studied Reiki, aromatherapy and massage.

I've since undertaken additional courses in nutrition, yoga for athletes, EFT (emotional freedom technique) tapping, fitness instruction L2 and most recently Pellowah energy healing.

As well as working as a yoga teacher, holistic therapist, and part-time nurse practitioner, I love spending time in nature, walking in the country with friends, enjoying sunrise and sunset, cold sea swimming, going to the gym, and eating delicious plant-based foods. Following an extensive home project, I now love working from my home treatment room and teaching in my home studio...often with Tommy the deaf white cat overlooking.

“I absolutely love Kerry’s Yoga. Very calming voice and professional. I always look forward to Monday mornings. Even though I’m not very flexible, I definitely feel stronger.”
