What my yoga is all about

  • A group of older women participating in a yoga class, with one woman in the foreground wearing pink leggings and a black top, kneeling on a yoga mat with her arms raised, in a bright studio with plants and artwork.

    Empowerment

My yoga philosophy is to empower people to help themselves through the art of breath, movement, meditation and mindfulness. This starts with a mind and body connection and is an integral theme throughout every yoga class I teach. Classes are delivered with intention and focus, with a dash of humour, in a relaxed, safe manner.

  • A woman in a yellow dress holding a drum, standing in front of a colorful abstract painting, while three women sit with eyes closed in meditation or mindfulness practice in a bright room.

    Holistic Approach

The intention of my classes is to improve general well-being, by means of improving strength, flexibility, mobility and stillness of mind. In addition, promoting self exploration, body/mind awareness and healing - whether that be physical, mental, spiritual or emotional.

  • Two women smiling indoors with large green houseplants in the background.

    Inclusivity

All abilities are welcome and adjustments/progressions are offered. Take a look at 'My Classes' to discover which class is most suitable for you. I also offer one to one yoga and small groups, corporate, hen parties, college students and young adults. Enquire within. Also as a fitness enthusiast I strongly advocate yoga as an integral part of any training program and to prepare for and recover from any sporting events

  • "One of my favourite parts of the week is yoga with Kerry. I’m not super flexible, but I’ve seen major improvement since I have attended her classes and your ability to do it is never in question, it’s about exploring it for yourself. However, the difference Kerry’s classes have made to my state of mind...well let’s just say it’s been a life saver for me of late. I’d totally recommend coming along. Hopefully see you on the mat one day".
